Men's Track Athlete of the Week

- Long Beach State's Tristyn Flores won the 200m race at the Challenge Cup meet to earn The Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week award. It is Flores' second career weekly honor, having won it once last year.
- The Beach senior clocked a seasonal-best time of 20.73 to win the half-lap race. That mark currently ranks No. 1 in the Big West, No. 22 in the NCAA West Region, and No. 44 nationally.
- Flores also contributed to a victorious 4x100m relay team (40.51).
- Long Beach State took home the Challenge Cup team trophy with 166 points.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Ryan Gregory, Long Beach State | Senior • Owatonna, Minn. |
- Long Beach State’s Ryan Gregory had a standout decathlon performance at the Bryan Clay Multis Invitational to claim The Big West Field Athlete of the Week honor. It is Gregory's second career weekly honor, having won it once in 2025.
- The Beach senior from Owatonna, Minn. placed third overall, second among collegiate competitors, with a score of 7,810 points, just shy of a personal-best of 7,899.
- The mark ranks first in the Big West, fourth in the NCAA West Region, and fourth in the nation.
- During the decathlon, Gregory secured event wins in the javelin (58.71m/192'7") and the 1500m (4:26.21), while also recording a personal bests in the 400m (48.66) and shotput (12.35m/40'6.25").

Women's Track Athlete of the Week

- UC Irvine’s Aoife Hernon won the 400m race at the Challenge Cup to take home the Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week recognition. It is Hernon's first career weekly honor.
- The Anteater graduate student broke a 35-year-old school record with a personal-best effort of 54.05 in the one-lap event. The time currently ranks fourth in The Big West.

Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Joy Anderson, UC Irvine | Freshman • Lakewood, Calif. |
- UC Irvine's Joy Anderson set a new school record in the heptathlon at the Bryan Clay Multis Invitational to collect the Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Week accolade. It is Anderson's first career weekly honor.
- The freshman broke a 17-year-old school record with 5,572 points. Anderson's mark ranks first in the Big West, 10th in the West Region, and 14th in all of NCAA Division I this season.
- On the first day of action, Anderson started and ended with personal records that rank among the top-10 in program history. The Lakewood, Calif. native crossed the finish line of the 100m hurdles in 13.89 seconds, which ranks eighth on UCI’s all-time charts. Anderson cracked the top-10 again in the 200m, running the sixth-fastest time in program history at 23.98.
- The Anteater rookie added season bests in the shot put (11.47m/37'7.75"), long jump (5.28m/17'4"), and 800m (2:12.16) over the course of the performance.
