Cal Poly's Atilano and Martin, UC Riverside’s Olukoju and Turban of Hawai‘i Collect Weekly Awards

Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Vincent Atilano, Cal Poly | Sophomore • Carlsbad, Calif.
  • 8038Cal Poly's Vincent Atilano won two events at the Conover Classic to claim Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is Atilano's second career weekly honor, having won it once last year.

  • The sophomore from Carlsbad, Calif. placed first in the men's 400m hurdles race with a lifetime-best 51.34, the fourth fastest time in school history. It currently ranks second in The Big West, fifth in the West Region and 10th in NCAA, so far this year.

  • Atilano also anchored Cal Poly's 4x400-meter relay to a victory with a time of 3:14.48.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Travis Martin, Cal Poly | Redshirt Senior • San Jose, Calif.
  • 8038Cal Poly's Travis Martin won the hammer throw competition at the Conover Classic to earn Big West Men's Field Athlete of the Week award. It is Martin's second career weekly honor, having won it once last season.

  • The Mustang redshirt senior recorded a lifetime-best toss in the hammer throw with a mark of 239'10"/73.1m to place first in the event.

  • Currently, the mark ranks No. 2 in school history, and first in The Big West, first in the West Region and second in NCAA this season.

Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Raykiyat Olukoju, UC Riverside | Senior • Riverside, Calif.
  • 8135UC Riverside's Raykiyat Olukoju won three races at the UCR Spring Classic to claim The Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week award. It is Olukoju's second career weekly honor, having won it once during the 2024 season.

  • The Highlander senior placed first in the 100m with a time of 11.70. The time currently ranks seventh in The Big West and 22nd in the West Region this year.

  • The Riverside, Calif. native won the 200m, crossing the finish line in 23.39. Currently, the time ranks first in The Big West, seventh in the West Region and 17th in NCAA this season.

  • Olukoju was a member of the UCR 4x100m relay team that set a new school record of 44.95. Currently, it is the second fastest in The Big West, seventh in the West Region and 25th in NCAA this year.

Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Lilian Turban, Hawai'i | Senior • Tallinn, Estonia
  • 22175Lilian Turban of Hawai'i won two events at the UCR Spring Classic to earn The Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Week honor. It is Turban's sixth career weekly honor, having won it once last season, twice in 2023 and twice in 2022.

  • The Tallinn, Estonia product placed first in the high jump with a clearance of 1.79m/5'10.5". It currently ranks first in The Big West, tied for second in the West Region and tied for third in NCAA this year.

  • Turban also won the javelin throw competition with a personal-best toss of 48.12m/157'10". The mark is No. 4 in school history and currently ranks second in The Big West, 15th in the West Region and 27th in NCAA this season.
