 What 2 Watch 4
The 2025 track & field season enters the postseason, starting with The Big West Track & Field Championships. The meet is hosted by Long Beach State at Jack Rose Track with main weekend on May 16-17. The decathlon and heptathlon were held on May 9-10. Long Beach State's Claudine Raud-Gumiel won the heptathlon and UC Santa Barabara's Brad Thomas was victorious in the decathlon with a new stadium, school, meet and overall conference record of 8108 points.

Last year, Cal Poly swept both men’s and women’s team titles at home. It was the first men’s title and second-ever women’s crown for the Mustangs. The Cal Poly men snapped Cal State Fullerton’s three-year streak at the top and the Mustang women ended Long Beach State’s chance at a three-peat.
