Ian Dossman, Cal State Fullerton | Sophomore • Elk Grove, Calif.

  • Cal State Fullerton's Ian Dossman had phenomenal performances in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay at the Texas Relays to earn The Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week award. It is Dossman's second career weekly honor, having won it once last year. 
     
  • The sophomore clocked a school-record and personal-best time of 10.16 in the 100m for second place. The time ranks first in the conference, second in the region and eighth in the nation. 
     
  • Dossman rank a personal-best and school-record time of 20.56 in the 200m for seventh place. The time ranks first in the conference, second. in the region and fourth in hte nation. 
     
  • The Elk Grove, Calif. native was also a member of the 4x100m relay team that ran 39.61 for sixth place. The time ranks first in the conference, eighth in the region and 18th in the nation.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week

  • Long Beach State's Ryan Gregory came in second in the decathlon at the Texas Relays to claim The Big West Men's Field Athlete of the Week honor. It is Gregory's first career weekly honor. 
     
  • Gregory posted a personal-best score of 7,557 points, just 15 points shy of first place. The performance ranks third in program history, first in the conference, first in the region and second in the nation. 
     
  • Gregory posted personal bests in the 100m (10.79), 400m (48.89), discus (36.89m/121'0") and 1500m (4:32.44).

Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Maddie Kackley, UC Davis | Senior • Salida, Calif.

  • Maddie Kackley of UC Davis won the 3000m steeplechase event at the West Coast Relays to claim The Big West Women's Track of the Week award. It is Kackley's first career weekly honor from the conference in track & field. 
     
  • The senior ran a personal-best time of 10:22.14 in the 3000m steeplechase. The time ranks third in school history, first in the conference, ninth in the region and 23rd nationally.

Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Reyna Johnson, UC Irvine | Senior • Sacramento, Calif.

  • UC Irvine's Reyna Johnson finished runner-up in the long jump at the Vince O’Boyle Classic to earn The Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Week award. It is Johnson's second career weekly honor from the conference, having won it once last season. 
     
  • The Sacramento, Calif. product established a wind-aided personal-record 6.34m/20-9.75 (+2.7) to finish second in the long jump. The mark ranks first in the conference, third in the west region and is tied for sixth in the nation.
     
  • Johnson also competed in the 100m hurdles, coming in second place with a personal-best time of 13.79.
