2026 NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship Bracket
The 64-team field for the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship bracket was revealed on Monday, and UC Santa Barbara will represent The Big West in the national tournament. The announcement was made on the NCAA Men’s Tennis Selection Show on NCAA.com.

UC Santa Barbara (18-7) drew No. 15 seed San Diego (20-5) in the first round of the national tournament. The match will be played May 1 at 1 p.m. PT at Hogan Tennis Center. The winner of that match will face either UCLA (17-7) or Arizona State (17-10) in the second round, also hosted by San Diego.

San Diego earned its way into the field by winning the West Coast Conference Tournament. The Toreros are ranked No. 16 in the latest ITA rankings (April 21).

2026 will be the second straight and 19th time in program history that UCSB will play in the NCAA Championship. The Gauchos earned the conference’s automatic bid by winning The Big West Championship as the top seed, defeating fourth-seeded UC Davis 4-1 in the semifinals and second-seeded UC Irvine 4-0 in the title match. UCSB won a share of the regular-season crown with a 5-1 conference record. In the latest ITA rankings (April 21), the Gauchos are ranked No. 36 as a team and have two players in No. 64 Dominique Rolland and No. 110 Lucca Liu in the singles rankings, and one doubles pair rated in Liu and Miguel Avendano. Last season, UC Santa Barbara fell to No. 16 seed UCLA by a score of 4-0 in the opening round.
