UC San Diego’s Chloe Braun and Asian Kozan’s historic seasons came to an admirable curtain call after competition in the 100-breaststroke and 200-freestyle, respectively, at the 2026 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships on the campus of Georgia Tech at the McAuley Aquatic Center.
During the first heat of the 200 Free, Kozan clocked in at 1:45.20 and 1:46.83. Kozan will compete in the upcoming 200-Individual Medley this preliminary on Saturday, March 21, at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT.
Later in the 100 Breast, Braun boasted times of 58.79 and 58.98, placing 16th overall in the category, qualifying for a B-Cut but not a spot in tonight’s coveted A-Final.
Overall, the dynamic duo set new records this season, and the pairing placed first overall in two Championship meet events this season in 2026 while also setting a new conference record together in the 400-Medley Relay.
