2026 Big West Women's Swimming & Diving Awards
With the conclusion of the 2025-26 Big West Swimming & Diving season, the conference is proud to announce this year’s major award winners.
UC San Diego’s Eva Boehlke is crowned The Big West Women’s Swimmer of the Year after a sensational championship performance. Boehlke won the 200 IM in a meet-record 1:57.43, claimed the 100 Butterfly (52.79) and 200 Backstroke (1:56.37), and anchored the Tritons’ 400 Medley Relay to a meet record with a 53.56 split.
Macie Wheeler of Hawai’i claims consecutive Women’s Diver of the Year honors after claiming gold at the conference meet twice on 1-Meter (311.85 BW Record) and 3-Meter (352.70) while posting NCAA Zone-qualifying scores.
Ella Ackerman is recognized as Women’s Freshman Swimmer of the Year after earning UC Davis a gold finish in the 400 Individual Medley (4:15:47). Ackerman helped aid the Aggies to their highest finish in The Big West Championships in a decade.
Keira Chandler of the Rainbow Wahine records the Women’s Freshman Diver of the Year accolade following a breakout debut that included a podium finish on Platform and scoring performances on both springboards at the conference meet.
On the coaching side, Steve Allnutt of Hawai'i claims Women’s Swimming Coach of the Year after leading the Rainbow Wahine to multiple event victories and relay medals, while Brandon Blaisdell, also of UH, repeats as Women’s Diving Coach of the Year following a sweep of the women’s diving events in this year's championship.
The top three finishers in each event at The Big West Swimming & Diving Championships are designated as All-Conference.
