  • San Diego's Sydney Wilson made a strong debut in Friday's home pentathlon during the sophomore's first meet since transferring to become a member of the Toreros. 
  • Wilson placed 17th overall with a combined 5:19.80, highlighted by a 56.45 in the 100 freestyle and a 1:00.93 in the 100 backstroke.
  • The Portland, Ore. product added steady performances in the 100 butterfly (1:02.06), 100 breaststroke (1:15.35), 100 individual medley (1:05.01), and closed competition with a 4:37.96 in the 400 IM.
