Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week Vili Sivec, Cal State Bakersfield | Senior • Zabok, Croatia

• Cal State Bakersfield's Vili Sivec delivered another dominant midseason performance, sweeping all four individual events at home during the CSUB Invite. This is the sixth weekly distinction of the senior's career (Oct. 15, Nov. 12, Dec. 10, Dec. 24, 2024 | Nov. 11, 2025)

• Sivec won the 50 free (19.64), 100 free (42.47), 100 fly (23.80), and 200 fly (1:47.34), setting meet records in all four events and adding pool records in both freestyle sprints. The junior fueled four relay victories and a runner-up finish, with the 400 free, 800 free, 200 medley, and 400 medley relays all establishing new pool or meet records.

• Sivec now holds top-four Big West rankings in each event raced, highlighted by No. 2 marks in the 50 and 100 freestyle.
