- UC San Diego senior Chloe Braun turned in a dominant all-around performance in Friday’s dual meet win over UC Davis to earn The Big West Women’s Swimmer of the Week award. This is the second weekly distinction of the senior career (Jan. 7, 2025).
- Braun clocked an NCAA Division I automatic qualifying time in the 100 Breaststroke (59.82), marking one of the nation’s fastest times this season. The senior swept the breaststroke events, also taking first in the 200 Breaststroke (2:13.72) to secure key points for the Tritons.
- Braun contributed a 27.29 breaststroke split on the winning 200 Medley Relay and helped UC San Diego continue its early-season momentum. The Toulouse, France native •capped the meet with a second-place finish in the 100 Butterfly (55.83), highlighting her versatility across multiple events.
