Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week Holly Nelson, Hawai'i | Senior • Sydney, Australia

• Hawai‘i senior Holly Nelson delivered a commanding performance to earn Big West Swimmer of the Week honors after posting six wins across eight events at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatics Complex. This is the first weekly distinction of Nelson's career.

• Nelson opened the weekend with victories in the 100 free (49.62) and as part of the winning 200 medley (1:39.26) and 400 free (3:21.44) relays, adding a third-place finish in the 50 free (23.01), all season-best times. On Saturday, Nelson set a new Duke Kahanamoku Aquatics Complex record in the 50 free with a season-best 22.62 and added a personal-best 24.27 in the 50 butterfly to claim another gold.

• The senior capped the meet by anchoring the first-place 200 free relay (1:30.92) with a 21.94 split and taking second in the 100 free (49.96) to close out an outstanding two-day showing.
