Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week Mario Surkovic, Hawai'i | Senior • Dubrovnik, Croatia

• Mario Surkovic powered the Rainbow Warriors to a runner-up team finish at the UCSD Triton Invitational, capping the meet with a record-setting 1:18.99 in the 200 Free Relay thanks to a blazing 19.1 third-leg split. to secure The Big West Men's Swimming & Diving award. This is the first weekly distinction of Surkovic's career. 

• Surkovic also claimed the 200 Individual Medley title in 1:47.44, edging out California’s Yamato Okadomo by .15 seconds for the win.

• The senior added a third-place finish in the 100 Free, fourth in the 100 Breast, and a key 23.98 split on the second leg of the third-place 200 Medley Relay.
