The graduate student placed seventh in the 1500m with a seasonal-best result of 3:40.19. The time ranks second in program history, first in the conference, 10th in the region and 24th in the nation.

The senior cleared a height of 5.12m/16'10.75" in the pole vault, .08m away from tying a personal record, to continue a three-meet win streak.

UC San Diego's Amari Jenkins won the 400m hurdles and recorded a personal best in the 100m hurdles at the Titan Tune-Up to earn the Women's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is Jenkins' second career weekly honor, having won it once earlier this year (April 9). 

The senior finished second in the 100m hurdles with a lifetime-best time of 13.96. It is the eighth best mark in The Big West. 

Jenkins won the 400m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 1:00.83, just .08 shy of tying a personal-best time.

UC San Diego's Tamara Aimufia won the triple jump at the Titan Tune-Up to claim the Women's Field Athlete of the Week award. It is Aimufia's first career weekly honor.

The freshman leaped 12.32m in the triple jump for the win. It is .05m shy of Aimufia's personal record. 

Aimufia also competed in the 100m, running a personal-record time of 12.84.
