The sophomore ran a personal-best time of 47.88 in the 400m for a third-place finish.

The Carlsbad, Calif. product got another lifetime best, clocking in at 21.74 in the 200m.

Maher was also a member of the 4x100m (41.83) and 4x400m (3:20.05) relay teams that placed fifth and sixth, respectively.

The junior established a new school and personal best for the third time this season in the hammer throw with a toss of 66.34m/217'8". The mark is currently ranks second in The Big West, 18th in the region and 26th in the nation. 

Martin also placed 20th in the discus with a mark of 43.53m/142'10".

UC San Diego's Amari Jenkins won two events at the Triton Invitational to earn the Women's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is Jenkins' second career weekly honor, having won it once in 2022 (April 26). 

The senior won the 400m hurdles with a personal-best time of 1:00.15. It ranks third in The Big West and 43rd in the region. The Moreno Valley, Calif. product took eighth in the 100m hurdles with a 14.31 effort.

Long Beach State's Rori Denness-Lamont won the javelin at the Triton Invitational to claim the Women's Field Athlete of the Week award. It is Denness-Lamont's second weekly honor after winning one earlier this season (March 5). 

The senior won the event with a throw of 53.18m/174'5", which tied a personal best and school record. The mark currently ranks first in The Big West, 12th in the region and 14th in the nation.
