The sophomore crossed the finish line in the 1500m with a time of 3:41.48 for the win. The performance ranks first in The Big West, 16th in the region and 57th in the nation.

The sophomore won the discus competition with a school- and personal-record throw of 57.63m/189'1". The mark ranks second in The Big West, 20th in the region and 38th in the nation.

Cal Poly's Tatiana Cornejo ran the conference-leading time in the 1500m to earn the Women's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is the first career weekly honor for Cornejo. 

Cornejo placed fifth in the second heat of the 1500m and clocked in at 4:20.70. The time currently ranks first in The Big West, and 55th in the region.

UC Irvines Kailah McKenzie won the high jump competition at the Steve Scott Invitational to claim the Women's Field Athlete of the Week award. It is McKenzie's first career weekly honor.

The freshman cleared a personal-best height of 1.77m/5'9.75". The mark ranks first in The Big West, third in school history, 26th in the region and 47th in the nation. 

McKenzie also competed in the long jump, finishing fourth with a 6.03m/19'9.5" effort. The mark ranks second in The Big West and 69th in the region.
