CSUN Duo of Phillips, Jr., Knight, UC Riverside's Starks and UC Irvine's Robinson Earn Weekly Awards

Men's Track Athlete of the Week
David Phillips, Jr., CSUN | Redshirt Senior • Dixon, Calif.

CSUN's David Phillips, Jr. was part of two wins at the Ron and Sharlene Allice Trojan Invitational to claim the Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is the second career weekly honor for Phillips, Jr., having won it once last season (April 4).
The redshirt senior won the 200m with a personal-best time of 20.51. It currently ranks first in The Big West, second in the west region and seventh in the nation.
Phillips, Jr. was also third in the 100m (10.36) and was a member of the 4x100m relay team that clocked 39.75 for the win.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Trey Knight, CSUN | Junior • Ridgefield, Wash.

CSUN's Trey Knight won the hammer throw competition at the Ron and Sharlene Allice Trojan Invitational to earn the Men's Field Athlete of the Week award. It is the first career weekly honor for Knight.
The junior broke a school record and a established a personal best with a throw of 76.36m/250'6". The mark ranks first in the nation.

Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Saniyah Starks, UC Riverside | Junior • San Diego, Calif.

UC Riverside's Saniya Starks ran a personal-best time in the 400m to earn the Women's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is the second career weekly honor for Starks, having won it once last season (April 25).
The junior clocked a time of 54.08 in the 400m at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational for a fourth place finish.
It is currently the fastest time in the conference, 15th in the West Region and No. 3 all-time in Highlander program history.
Starks was also a member of the 4x400m relay team that took first with a 3:52.62 performance.

Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Jolie Robinson, UC Irvine | Junior • Mission Viejo, Calif.

UC Irvine's Jolie Robinson won the heptathlon competition at the UCR Spring Classic to claim the Women's Field Athlete of the Week award. It is Robinson's first career weekly honor.
Robinson finished with 5,213 points, establishing a personal record in the 200m (25.28) and seasonal bests in the high jump (1.59m/5'2.5") and shot put (11.64m/38'2.25").
The junior won the javelin with a toss of 41.38m/135'9".
Robinson is currently ranked first in the nation in the heptathlon.
