CSUN's David Phillips, Jr. was part of two wins at the Ron and Sharlene Allice Trojan Invitational to claim the Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor. It is the second career weekly honor for Phillips, Jr., having won it once last season (April 4).

The redshirt senior won the 200m with a personal-best time of 20.51. It currently ranks first in The Big West, second in the west region and seventh in the nation.

Phillips, Jr. was also third in the 100m (10.36) and was a member of the 4x100m relay team that clocked 39.75 for the win.
