Cal State Fullerton's Davina Xanh Goes Back-to-Back for Big West Golfer of the Month

  • 27265Cal State Fullerton’s Davina Xanh helped lead the Titans to a team tournament victory to pick up Big West Golfer of the Month for October. This is a fourth career monthly honor, and second consecutive after taking home honors for September.  

  • Xanh fired off a 6-under 201 to place second individual at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational in Tacoma, Wash., to start off the month. The finish was a 13th consecutive top-10 finish and eighth straight top-five placing.  

  • The native of Weston Super Mare, England, paced the Titans to the team title, a combined 12-under 852 to best Seattle U by three strokes. 

  • Competing as an individual at the Stanford Intercollegiate Oct. 18-20, Xanh placed 13th after shooting 2-under 211 in the stout field. Xanh bookended the event with rounds of 3-under 68. The junior carded three birdies to go along with an eagle on Hole No. 9 in the third and final round from Stanford Golf Course to move up eight spots on the individual leaderboard.
