- Luigi Franco of UC San Diego has secured The Big West Men’s Swimming & Diving award after leading the Tritons to victory over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at home. This is the first Big West weekly distinction of Sivec’s collegiate career.
- Franco took home the 200 back with a time of 1:44.34 for a total of 9 points and finished a full five seconds ahead of the next lane in the triumph. With the finish, the Vila Velha, Brazil native was just 0.06 seconds from snapping five-year-old program record.
- UC San Diego downed CMS on the men’s side by a total score of 158-103 in the home dual.
