James Crawford, CSUN Men's Track Athlete of the Week Freshman • Reseda, Calif.

• CSUN's James Crawford won the 200 at the Steve Scott Invitational to earn The Big West Track Athlete of the Week accolade. Crawford is a first-time weekly honoree. 

• Crawford crossed the finish line in the 200 with a personal-best time of 21.03 for the win. It is currently the third fastest time in The Big West and the second quickest by a CSUN freshman in the event.

Bryson Williams, CSUN Men's Field Athlete of the Week Freshman • Fontana, Calif.

•  CSUN's Bryson Williams had strong perfromances in the long jump and triple jump at the Steve Scott Invitational to claim The Big West Men's Field Athlete of the Week distinction. Williams is a first-time weekly honoree. 

• The freshman was second in the triple jump with a mark of 15.07m/49'5.5". 

• Williams posted a season-best in the long jump with a 7.23m / 23'8.75" effort to finish sixth. It is currently the third best performance in the conference.

Linda Perez, UC Riverside  Women's Track Athlete of the Week Sophomore • Madera, Calif.

• UC Riverside's Linda Perez won the mile at the Steve Scott Invitational to earn The Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week award. It is Perez's second weekly honor this season, after being honored once earlier this year. 

• The sophomore crossed the finish line in the mile with a time of 4:41.10, which converts to a 4:20.27, which currently leads The Big West.

Kerrington Smith, UC Davis Women's Field Athlete of the Week Junior • Upland, Calif.

• Kerrington Smith of UC Davis won the triple jump competition at the Causeway Dual to claim The Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Week honor. Smith is a first-time weekly honoree. 

• Smith won the triple jump with a personal- and school-record mark of 12.59m/41'3.75". The mark currently ranks first in The Big West and is the second time this season that the junior has eclipsed the 40-foot mark.
