Matthew Uballe, Cal State Fullerton Men's Track Athlete of the Week Junior • Diamond Bar, Calif.

• Cal State Fullerton's Matthew Uballe took first place in the 110 hurdles at the Battle of OC to earn The Big West Track Athlete of the Week accolade. Uballe is a first-time weekly honoree. 

• On Thursday, the junior ran a personal-best and school-record time of 13.87 in the 110 hurdles. The time currently ranks first in The Big West and 28th in the West Region.

Rory Devaney, Cal Poly Men's Field Athlete of the Week Freshman • San Luis Obispo, Calif.

•  Cal Poly's Rory Devaney won the discus and hammer throw competitions at the Mustang Invitational to claim The Big West Men's Field Athlete of the Week distinction. It is Devaney's second weekly honor from the conference, winning one earlier this season.  

• The freshman took first in the discus with a personal-best throw of 53.84m/176'8". The mark ranks fifth all-time in program history, third in The Big West and 60th in the West Region. 

• Devaney also captured first in the men's hammer throw with a mark of 61.63m/202'2", just 2 inches off his own school record (202'4").

Brianna Weidler, UC Davis  Women's Track Athlete of the Week Sophomore • San Diego, Calif.

• UC Riverside's Saniyah Starks won the 400 at the Chris Rinne Twilight to earn The Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week award. Starks is a first-time weekly honoree. 

• The sophomore crossed the finish line in the 400 with a personal-best time of 54.59. The time ranks first in the conference and 77th in the West Region. 

• Starks also led the 4x400 relay squad to a second-place finish with a 3:54.71 performance.

Miranda Miller, CSU Bakersfield Women's Field Athlete of the Week Redshirt Junior • Manteca, Calif.

• CSU Bakersfield's Miranda Miller won the pole vault competition at the Mustang Invitational to claim The Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Week honor. Miller is a first-time weekly honoree. 

• The redshirt junior set a new season-best in the pole vault, clearing 4.18m/13'8.25". The mark is first in The Big West, 12th in the NCAA West Region and 26th in the nation.

• Miller has won eight competitions this season.
