• Cal Poly's Aidan McCarthy had two impressive performances in the 800 and 1500 at the Bryan Clay Invitational to earn The Big West Track Athlete of the Week accolade. It is McCarthy's second career weekly track honor from the conference, having won one last season.
• On Friday night, the sophomore shattered the Cal Poly school record in the men's 800, running a time of 1:47.24 to win the heat and finish fifth overall. The performance ranks first in The Big West, fifth in the region and ninth nationally.
• The next day McCarthy followed up that performance by running the second-fastest 1,500-meter time in program history (3:41.21) to win his heat. The time is the best in the conference, 18th in the region and 37th in Division I.

• Cal State Fullerton's Andrew Aguilar placed fourth in the decathlon at the Mt. SAC Relays to claim The Big West Men's Field Athlete of the Week distinction. Aguilar is a first-time weekly honoree.
• The senior compiled a peronal-best and school-record score of 7,239 points in the 10-event competition. The mark ranks first in The Big West and 17th in the region.
• While competing in the decathlon, Aguilar reached personal bests in the long jump (7.12m/23'4.5") and 400 (48.95). The long jump performance is currently the eighth furthest mark in the conference.

• Brianna Weidler of UC Davis broke the school and conference record in the 5000 at the Bryan Clay Invitational to earn The Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week award. Weidler is a first-time weekly track honoree.
• The sophomore crossed the finish line in the 5000 with a time of 15:48.57, breaking the UC Davis school and Big West records. The time ranks first in the conference, 17th regionally and 25th nationally.

• Lilian Turban of Hawai'i won the high jump at the Bryan Clay Invitational to claim The Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Week honor. It is Turban's fourth career weekly honor, having won one earlier this season and two laast year.
• The sophomore reached the 6-foot milestone, leaping a personal-best 1.83m to win the event. The mark ranks No. 1 in the Big West, No. 4 in the West Region and seventh in Division I.
• Turban has won every high jump event this season.
