• Cal Poly junior Jadyn Snaer won the 100 at the Cal Poly Open to earn The Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week award. Snaer
is a first-time weekly honoree.
• Snaer won the short-sprint event with a time of 11.63, tied for the third fastest time in program history and third nationally.
• The junior also anchored the 4x100 relay team that took first place with a time of 45.76.

• UC Irvine junior Deandra Tyler opened the outdoor season with a win in the hammer throw at the Beach Opener to win The Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Week honor. Tyler is a first-time weekly honoree.
• Tyler took first with a personal-record throw of 52.95m/173'8" ranking No. 7 in program history and fourth in the nation.
• The junior came back the next day for a runner-up finish in the shot put with a mark of 14.24m/46'8.75" which ranks seventh nationally.
