Reyte Rash, Cal State Fullerton Men's Track Athlete of the Week Senior • Riverside, Calif.

• Cal State Fullerton senior Reyte Rash recorded two NCAA-leading marks at the Ben Brown Invitational to earn The Big West Track Athlete of the Week. Rash is a first-time weekly honoree. 

• Rash placed first and ran the fastest 400m hurdle time in NCAA so far this season with a personal-best of 51.41. 

• The senior was also a member of the 4x400 relay team that ran an NCAA-leading 3:12.04 for the win.

Sebastian Coleman, Long Beach State Men's Field Athlete of the Week Senior • San Tan Valley, Ariz.

• Sebastian Coleman won the hammer throw and had two other top-10 performances at the Ben Brown Invitational to claim The Big West Men's Field Athlete of the Week Award. Coleman now has four weekly honors from the conference, having won it three times last season. 

• The senior won the hammer throw competition with a 64.74m/212'5" performance. It is currently the third-best mark in the NCAA. 

• Coleman also took fourth in the shot put (15.78m/51'9.25") and seventh in the discus (51.05m/167'6") at the same meet.

Rahni Turner, Long Beach State Women's Track Athlete of the Week Sophomore • Mesa, Ariz.

• Long Beach State sophomore Rahni Turner was part of three first-place performances at the Ben Brown Invitational to earn The Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week honor. Turner is a first-time weekly honoree. 

• Turner took first place in the 100 hurdles, crossing the line in a personal-best and national-leading time of 13.48. 

• The sophomore was also a member of the Beach 4x100 relay (45.99) and 4x400 relay (3:52.50) teams and helped each squad to first place finishes.

Malia Benson, UC Santa Barbara Women's Field Athlete of the Week Junior • Riverside, Calif.

• UC Santa Barbara junior Malia Benson won the javelin competition at the UCSB Invitational to win The Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Week honor. Benson is a first-time weekly honoree. 

• The junior recorded a personal-best mark of 50.12m/164'5" to win the javelin competition. It is currently the fourth-leading throw in the nation. 

• Benson is a former softball player who transferred this offseason to UC Santa Barbara and converted to being a javelin thrower.
