• Cal Poly sophomore Aidan McCarthy ran a personal-best time of 3:45.93 in the 1500 for the win at the Cal Poly Invitational to earn The Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor.
• McCarthy's time broke previous meet record of 3:46.09, set by Ben Bruce in 2005. Currently, it is the fastest time in The Big West and 15th in the West Region.

• Long Beach State grduate student Charlie Vernoy won the discus, placed third in the shotput and fifth in the hammer throw at the Rafer Johnson/Jacke Joyner-Kersee Invitational to win The Big West Men's Field Athlete of the Week award.
• Vernoy placed first in the discus with a throw of 46.97m/186'11". The mark ranks second in The Big West, seventh in the West Region and 16th nationally.
• Vernoy placed third in the shot put with a throw of 16.74m/54'11.25", which ranks third in the conference. He took fifth in the hammer throw with a mark of 59.10m/193'11", which also ranks third in The Big West.

• Long Beach State junior Ryley Fick took second in the 3000 steeplechase at the Bob Larsen Distance Classic with a personal-best time of 10:26.28 to earn The Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week.
• Fick's time in the event is the second fastest in Long Beach State program history. It also leads the conference, ranks sixth in the West Region and 17th nationally.

• Long Beach State junior Imani Carmouche placed first in the high jump and second in the long jump at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie-Joyner Kersee Invitational to claim The Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Week honor.
• Carmouche placed first in the high jump with a height of 1.75m/5'8.75". The mark ranks first in the conference, fourth in the West Region and ninth in the NCAA.
• Carmouche recorded a mark of 5.65m/18'6.5" in the long jump. The distance ranks fifth in The Big West.
