Xian Shively, Cal Poly  Men's Track Athlete of the Week  Junior • Glendale, Calif.

• Cal Poly junior Xian Shively placed first in the 5000 at the UCSB Invitational with a time of 13:58.22 to earn The Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor. 
 
• The time is currently sixth all-time in the Mustang record books, tops the conference and second in the West Region.

Mathis Bresko, Cal Poly  Men's Field Athlete of the Week  Sophomore • Bellevue, Wash.

• Cal Poly sophomore Mathis Bresko recorded a personal-best mark of 5.20m/17'0.75" in the pole vault, eclipsing his mark of 5.12m/16'9.5" set last week, at the UCSB Invitational to win The Big West Men's Field Athlete of the Week award. 
 
• The mark is currently the best in the conference and second in the West Region.

Yanla Ndjip-Nyemeck, CSUN  Women's Track Athlete of the Week  Redshirt Freshman • Brussels, Belgium

• CSUN redshirt freshman Yanla Ndjip-Nyemeck won the 100 hurdles at the UCSB Invitational with a time of 13.68 to earn the title of The Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week. 
 
• Ndjip-Nyemeck's time is currently just outside the program's top-10 list and the top mark in the conference and the West Region. 

Also nominated: Cassidy Hubert (Cal Poly), Ibra Ibeweke (UC San Diego), Deja Ingram (UC Davis), Collette Lowengrub (UC Riverside); 

Emily Hallett, Cal Poly  Women's Field Athlete of the Week  Senior • Madera, Calif.

• Cal Poly senior Emily Hallett took first place with a personal-best mark of 59.70m/195'10" in the hammer throw at the UCSB Invitational to take The Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week honor.
 
• The mark is a personal best and breaks her own school record and is currently the conference leader. She is tied for third in the West Region. 

• Hallett also placed seventh in the javelin competition over the weekend.
