• Cal Poly's Justin Robison dominated the field in the 1500-meter run at the Cal Poly Spring Break Challenge, earning Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week honors.

• Robison won the event with a time of 3:48.65, shaving nearly five seconds off his previous PR.

• His time is tops in the Big West and ranks 19th in the West Region.

• UC Irvine's Kayla Richardson had a busy, but productive, day at the Jim Bush Legends Invite last weekend, earning Big West Women's Track Athlete of the Week honors.

• The Walnut, Calif., native raced in the 100 (11.80) and 200 (24.19) picking up a win in the 100, second place in the 200 and running a leg on the victorious 4x100 (46.26) squad.

• Richardson's times in the 100 and 200 are the best in the Big West, while also ranking fifth and eighth in the Big West, respectively.

ALEC JONES, LONG BEACH STATE

• Long Beach State thrower Alec Jones won one event and finished in second in another at the Bob Larsen Invite, resulting in Big West Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors.

• The junior set a new PR in the discus, winning the event with a mark of 55.49 meters (182-01). He then just missed a PR in the hammer, finishing second in the event in 58.36 meters (191-06).

• Jones discus toss is the second-best in the Big West, eighth in the West Region and 18th in the NCAA.

IESHA HAMM, CAL STATE FULLERTON

• Cal State Fullerton's Iesha Hamm picked up a win in the high jump at the Bob Larsen Invite, earning her Big West Women's Field Athlete of the Week honors.

• Hamm cleared the bar at 5-9.75, the top jump in the Big West and ninth in the West Region.
