UC Riverside senior Ryan Swafford concluded the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with second-team All-American honors as he came in 13th place in the triple jump Saturday.
It marked the second All-American honor for Swafford, who finished in 16th place at last year's national meet in Des Moines, Iowa.
Swafford's best jump was his first as he cleared 51-7.00. However, that mark was not good enough to propel him into the top nine and the final round. Swafford entered the competition ranked No. 10 nationally in the triple jump, posting a mark of 52-4.5 at the Big West Championships on May 10.
The final tallies included one first-team All-American in UC Davis senior Lauren Wallace, seven second-team All-Americans and three who received Honorable Mention recognition.
