Westwood will be the destination for several Big West track & field clubs this weekend as the prestigious Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational headlines the weekend track docket.

The sixth annual event, which will play host to over 1,000 collegiate and professional athletes and over 25 schools, will have Cal Poly, Cal State Northridge, UC Davis and UC Riverside among its competitors. The three-day meet is scheduled to begin Thursday at Drake Stadium on the campus of UCLA.

A conference school will also host a meet this weekend as UC Irvine holds the Big West Challenge Cup at Anteater Stadium. UCI will face off against Cal State Fullerton, Long Beach State and UC Santa Barbara in the league-only event, set to take place Friday afternoon.
