The final Big West track & field weekly honors of the 2007 outdoor season went to a pair of field athletes as Cal State Fullerton’s Nathan Skankey and UC Riverside’s Jacqulyn Lewis claimed the accolades.
Skankey (Murrieta, Calif.) registered a mark of 16-2.75 in the pole vault at the Claremont Classic. The result was a personal best for Skankey and the second best showing in the Big West this season. Lewis (Fresno, Calif.) recorded a season-best 19-0.00 in the long jump a the Claremont Classic. The freshman’s mark was the second best effort in Highlander history.
