The first step toward the NCAA Championships takes place this weekend as qualifying Big West athletes head to Eugene, Ore., for the NCAA West Regional Championships. The regionals are being held at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon for the second time in three years.
Joining Big West athletes are competitors from the states of Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. The collegians will vie for top-five individual event and top-three relay event finishes for invitations to the NCAA Championships June 6-9 in Sacramento, Calif.
