- Cal State Bakersfield infielder Elijah Pelayo slashed .556/.629/.722 with 10 hits, two RBI and nine runs scored in four games to win The Big West Baseball Field Player of the Week award. It is Pelayo's first career weekly honor from the conference.
- The Roadrunner senior started the week going 2-for-3 with one double, one walk and three runs scored in a 7-3 home victory against Cal State LA, Tuesday night.
- Pelayo recorded two hits and scored a run in Friday's series-opener at UC Riverside.
- The Pico Rivera, Calif. native compiled three hits, two RBI and one run as Cal State Bakersfield earned a 10-0 win against the Highlanders on Saturday.
- Pelayo went 3-for-4 with one walk and four runs scored as the Roadrunners clinched the series with a 14-1 triumph over UC Riverside in Sunday's series finale.
- Cal State Bakersfield is 19-25 overall and tied for seventh in the league standings with a 9-12 conference mark. Pelayo is hitting .335 with 22 RBI and 35 runs scored.

- Cal State Bakersfield starting pitcher Ethan Minaker threw six innings of shutout ball to earn The Big West Baseball Pitcher of the Week award. It is Minaker's first career weekly honor.
- The left-handed starter threw 6.0 innings allowing no runs, three hits and one walk, while collecting three strikeouts, as the Roadrunners defeated UC Riverside 10-0 on Saturday.
- The Winnipeg, Canada product retired the side in order in the first, second and fifth innings.
- Cal State Bakersfield is 19-25 overall and tied for seventh in the league standings with a 9-12 conference mark. Minaker has a 3.48 ERA with 25 strikeouts in 44.0 innings on the mound this season.
