  • 32247Long Beach State senior attacker Elisa Portillo fueled an unbeaten weekend for the Beach to earn Big West Player of the Week honors, presented by Kap7 International, for the second time this season (Feb. 4).

  • Portillo totaled nine goals and six assists across three games, leading the offensive charge throughout the weekend.

  • In conference play at No. 16 UC San Diego, the senior attacker recorded a team-best four goals and three assists.

  • At the Aztec Invite, Portillo scored four times in a win over No. 8 Indiana and added a goal against Bucknell, along with three assists.

  • Portillo continues to lead Long Beach State on the season with 52 goals and 39 assists, anchoring one of the conference’s top attacks.
