The Big West placed 12 student-athletes across the 2026 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-America Teams, with six institutions represented on this year's list.
Long Beach State's Elisa Portillo and Hawai'i's Agatha Weston headlined the conference selections with ACWPC Second Team honors after posting some of the nation's top offensive campaigns in 2026.
Elisa Portillo paced The Big West in both points (128) and points per game (4.6), while ranking second in assists (54) and fourth in goals scored (74). The attacker also contributed defensively with 40 steals, tied for the conference lead, helping guide Long Beach State throughout the season. Portillo elevated play in postseason competition as well, averaging 5.4 points per game to top all conference student-athletes during championship play.
Agatha Weston earned second-team accolades after finishing tied for sixth in the league with 56 goals while averaging 2.7 goals per game, tied for the best mark in The Big West. Weston also ranked among the conference leaders in steals (34), steals per game (1.6), and field blocks (13), showcasing a complete two-way performance throughout the year.
10 more Big West student-athletes garnered ACWPC Honorable Mention recognition, including Cal State Fullerton's Lotte Boxsem and Destiny Hernandez, CSUN's Sofia Martinez, Mira Dravucz and Erika Staine, UC Davis' Gianna Nocetti, UC Irvine's Lauren Hett, UC San Diego's Emily Cloherty, and Hawai'i trio Ariadna Temprano I Xambo, Ema Vernoux, and Daisy Logtens.
The honorable mention selections produced some of the conference's most impressive statistical seasons in 2026.
Cal State Fullerton placed Lotte Boxsem and Destiny Hernandez on the honorable mention list after both student-athletes produced standout campaigns for the Titans. Hernandez ranked 10th in The Big West with 50 goals while adding 36 steals, fifth-most in the conference. Hernandez also finished among the league leaders in steals per game and field blocks, highlighting a strong all-around season.
Boxsem anchored the Titans defensively, finishing third in the conference with 195 saves while averaging 7.2 saves per game, sixth-best in the league.
CSUN earned three honorable mention selections in Sofia Martinez, Mira Dravucz and Erika Staine. Dravucz finished fourth in The Big West with 63 goals and sixth overall in points with 90 while averaging 3.5 points per game. Martinez totaled 35 steals, tied for seventh-most in the conference, while averaging 1.4 steals per contest.
Staine ranked fourth in the conference in save percentage (.454), fifth in goals-against average (10.76) and sixth in total saves with 157. The goalkeeper also averaged 7.5 saves per game to finish tied for fourth-best in The Big West.
Gianna Nocetti of the Aggies secured an honorable mention distinction after posting one of the conference's most versatile seasons.
Nocetti totaled 51 goals and 40 assists for 91 points, fifth-most in The Big West, while also leading the conference in sprint wins (79) and sprint win percentage (.806). Nocetti additionally contributed 38 steals and 11 blocked shots during the season.
UC Irvine's Lauren Hett collected honorable mention recognition following one of the top offensive seasons in the conference. Hett ranked second in The Big West with 73 goals and 112 total points while adding 39 assists, 34 steals, and a conference-best 24 field blocks. The Anteater also averaged 4.1 points per game during the 2026 campaign.
Emily Cloherty of the Tritons earned honorable mention honors after averaging 2.0 goals per game during the regular season. Cloherty elevated play during postseason competition, recording 13 goals and 22 total points to rank among conference leaders in championship action.
Big West champions Ariadna Temprano I Xambo, Ema Vernoux, and Daisy Logtens also crack the honorable mention list. Temprano I Xambo emerged as one of the conference's top facilitators, ranking sixth in assists with 37 while totaling 81 points, eighth-most in The Big West. The attacker also ranked among league leaders in assists per game (1.7) and points per game (3.7). Vernoux continued Hawai'i's offensive production with 40 goals in just 18 appearances, averaging 2.2 goals and 3.1 points per game. Logtens led The Big West in goals-against average (10.11) while ranking third in save percentage (.461) and fifth in total saves (166). During postseason competition, the goalkeeper posted a conference-best 6.95 goals-against average and .577 save percentage.
