Mira Dravucz Dominates for CSUN to Claim First Weekly Award of Career

  • 8012CSUN freshman attacker Mira Dravucz erupted for a monster week to earn Big West Freshman of the Week honors after powering the Matadors through a 5-1 stretch with 15 goals and 11 assists.

  • Dravucz piled up 26 total points while shooting 60.0 percent from the field across six matches. The freshman opened the week with an assist against Villanova before breaking out for nine points, five goals, and four assists, in a 20-11 win over McKendree, including scoring CSUN’s first three goals in the opening 1:40 of the contest.

  • The standout effort continued at the Convergence Tournament, where Dravucz posted three goals and three assists in a 15-13 victory over Iona and followed with two goals and two assists in a 21-3 win against Occidental.

  • Dravucz capped the week with two goals and an assist in a 12-9 win over Salem before adding three more goals in a 12-2 triumph over UC Merced. The freshman now leads The Big West with 56 goals on the season.
