The Big West Announces Fan Friendly Enhancements Ahead of Basketball Championships

The Big West announced today a series of exciting, fan-focused enhancements for the 2026 Credit Union 1 Big West Basketball Championships, set for March 11–14 at Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson, Nev., transforming this year’s championships into one of the most affordable and entertaining destination sporting events in the West. 

“This is everything fans love about college basketball — outstanding competition, unforgettable entertainment and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere — all in one incredible destination,” Big West Commissioner Dan Butterly said. “We’ve built the Credit Union 1 Big West Basketball Championships to feel like a celebration, from world-class performances like Red Panda to the energy inside Lee’s Family Forum. When you combine that experience with great ticket prices and free parking in the heart of Las Vegas, it becomes a truly special event — and one that truly stands apart in this market.”

Designed with fans in mind, the championships will feature general admission seating for every session, allowing attendees to sit where they want once inside the arena — creating a flexible, energetic, and community-driven game atmosphere.  

As a family-friendly entertainment event, the 2026 Big West Basketball Championships are one of the most affordable events in college sports.  

All-session tickets: $150  

Single-session tickets: 

  • Women’s sessions: $19  
  • Men’s sessions & Championship Session (2 title games): $34 
  • Courtside seats: Row 2 $79 (Row 1 Sold Out)

   GAME DAY EXPERIENCE   

The legendary Red Panda will perform at halftime of the men’s championship game on Saturday, March 14.  

The Big West Dunk Team will perform at halftime of the women’s championship. 

The Nellis Air Force Base Honor Guard will present the colors throughout the event. CMSgt. Gabriel Time will also sing the National Anthem on Championship Saturday.  
 

   FREE PARKING + TOUGH LIKE TAMMY    

Parking is free for all four days.  

In lieu of a parking fee, fans are encouraged to donate in any amount to Tough Like Tammy, a joint fundraising initiative between The Big West and its member institutions and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. The goal of the campaign is to raise $25,000 to secure a $50,000 grant from the Kay Yow Cancer Fund to assist women with cancer in underserved communities in southern California. The effort is currently 84% of the way to the goal.
