The Big West announced today a series of exciting, fan-focused enhancements for the 2026 Credit Union 1 Big West Basketball Championships, set for March 11–14 at Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson, Nev., transforming this year’s championships into one of the most affordable and entertaining destination sporting events in the West.

Designed with fans in mind, the championships will feature general admission seating for every session, allowing attendees to sit where they want once inside the arena — creating a flexible, energetic, and community-driven game atmosphere.

GAME DAY EXPERIENCE
The legendary Red Panda will perform at halftime of the men’s championship game on Saturday, March 14.
The Big West Dunk Team will perform at halftime of the women’s championship.
The Nellis Air Force Base Honor Guard will present the colors throughout the event. CMSgt. Gabriel Time will also sing the National Anthem on Championship Saturday.
FREE PARKING + TOUGH LIKE TAMMY
Parking is free for all four days.
In lieu of a parking fee, fans are encouraged to donate in any amount to Tough Like Tammy, a joint fundraising initiative between The Big West and its member institutions and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. The goal of the campaign is to raise $25,000 to secure a $50,000 grant from the Kay Yow Cancer Fund to assist women with cancer in underserved communities in southern California.
