UC Irvine will look to defend its Big West title, while Utah Valley, UC Santa Barbara, Cal State Bakersfield, CSUN, Cal State Fullerton and Sacramento State are among the programs battling for the four postseason spots.

The four-team format with seven conference squads is a new look for the league after a unique and innovative partnership with the Pac-12 to guarantee two West Coast berths and the potential of additional Big West member institutions making the national postseason in 2026.

Additionally, the league boasts a trio of student-athletes on the recently-announced 2026 Cutino Award Watch List with California Baptist’s Andrea Nuzzo, Corbin Staley of Long Beach State, and UC Santa Barbara’s Luigi Canepa.
