Two Big West Pitchers Earn All-America Honors

Two Big West student-athletes find themselves on at least one All-American team as three (ABCA, Perfect Game, NCBWA) of the top five outlets have revealed their selections. D1Baseball and Baseball America will reveal their All-America selections after the Men's College World Series. 

UC Irvine sophomore reliever Ricky Ojeda earned All-America Third Team status by both the NCBWA and Perfect Game. Ojeda, the 2025 Big West Pitcher of the Year, has the second-most pitching victories in the country with a 13-1 record to go with a 3.55 ERA and 83 strikeouts in 66.0 innings on the mound. The Anteater lefty was also a finalist for the NCBWA Stopper of the Year award

UC Santa Barbara junior starting pitcher Tyler Bremner is an All-America Second Team selection by Perfect Game. The Gaucho hurler went 5-4 with a 3.49 ERA with a conference-leading 111 strikeouts in 77.1 innings of work en route to earning All-Big West First Team honors.

The Big West did not have any representatives on the ABCA All-America teams.
