The Toreros went up 2-0 in the team score as Stian Klassen took care of Krishna 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. UC Irvine got one back as Amiryavari downed Kasday 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 6 slot.
Neo Niedner gave San Diego a 3-1 cushion with a 7-5, 6-2 triumph at the No. 4 position over Huang.
Andy Nguyen brought the gap back to one with a 7-5, 6-4 victory against the 83rd-ranked Savriyan Danilov. Third-ranked Oliver Tarvet sealed the San Diego team win, prevailing over 65th-ranked
Noah Zamora 7-5, 6-1 at the top flight.
