IRVINE, Calif. – The Big West announced today that Ontario International Airport will serve as presenting sponsor of the 2025 Big West Baseball Championship, set for May 21-25 at Goodwin Field on the campus of Cal State Fullerton. An event logo featuring Ontario International Airport, the Official Airport of The Big West, was also released. 

The 2025 Big West Baseball Championship presented by Ontario International Airport marks the return of the Big West Baseball Championship after a 27-year hiatus. The event at Cal State Fullerton is just the sixth baseball championship in conference history. For event and ticket information go to BigWest.org/Omaha. 

“We are excited to enhance our partnership with Ontario International Airport, the official airport of The Big West, to serve as the presenting sponsor for the return of the Big West Baseball Championship,” Big West Commissioner Dan Butterly said. “The Big West has a long history of excellence on the diamond, and we look forward to adding another chapter to that legacy next month.” 

The action from Goodwin Field in Fullerton, Calif., begins at Noon on Wednesday, May 21 with a single-elimination game between the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds. The remaining four teams will compete in a double-elimination format beginning on Thursday, May 22, with three more games contested on Friday, May 23. The championship will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, with a national postseason berth on the line. The "if necessary" finale rematch will take place on May 25.
