With under two weeks remaining in the regular season, individual session tickets for The Hawaiian Islands presents the 2025 Outrigger Big West Women’s Volleyball Championship are
on sale now.
Four teams have punched their tickets into the field, where the action starts on Wednesday, November 26 from the Walter Pyramid on the campus of Long Beach State.
Current league leaders UC Davis (17-5, 13-1 BW) and 2024 regular-season champion Cal Poly (21-6, 12-3 BW) are back in the field for the third straight year, enjoying postseason play each year of the event. The two teams are guaranteed a top four finish as the regular-season crown is within reach.
Securing their spot in the field last night after exciting victories, host Long Beach State (18-8, 11-4 BW) and UC Santa Barbara (19-8, 11-4 BW) will also see themselves playing volleyball on Thanksgiving week. The Beach are also making a third appearance in the Championship with the Gauchos returning to the fray after a one-year hiatus.
The No. 4 seed takes on the No. 5 seed at 3 p.m. followed by the No. 3 and No. 6 seeds at 6 p.m. to open postseason play. Reserved chairs and Section 111 are $20. General admission seating is $12 for adults or $10 for youth (ages 3-12) and seniors (60+). Tickets for groups of ten or more are $10 per person. Big West students are admitted free with a valid ID. Tickets are valid for both games in the session.
The semifinals on Friday, November 27 features the No. 1 seed vs. the winner of the No. 4 vs. No. 5 matchup and the No. 2 seed facing the No. 3 vs. No. 6 winner. Seats for the semifinal matches are $25 for reserved chairs and Section 111. General admission seating is $15 per game or $10 for youth (ages 3-12) and seniors (60+). Group seating remains at 10 per person. Big West students are also admitted free with a valid ID. Tickets are valid for both games.
The championship match is on Saturday, November 28 at 5 p.m. Pricing is the same as the semifinal matches.
Now in its third season hosting a Big West postseason event, Hawai’i has earned back-to-back titles and the Rainbow Wahine have made the NCAA bracket in 31 consecutive seasons. UH – along with CSUN, UC Irvine, UC San Diego and Cal State Fullerton - are still in the hunt to make The Big West field and earn the right to vie for the title with two weeks remaining.
The winner of The Hawaiian Islands presents the 2025 Outrigger Big West Women’s Volleyball Championship will earn the league’s automatic berth into the field of the 2025 NCAA Division I Championship. The conference has seen multiple berths into the national postseason in four of the last seven seasons.
Fans interested in a VIP experience can purchase admission to the Sand Bar hospitality area for $20. Located on the baseline at floor level, the Sand Bar offers premium food and beverage options not available anywhere else in the facility. Sand Bar patrons must also hold a valid ticket. Sand Bar admission is complimentary for courtside ticket holders.
All matches will be televised on ESPN+ with Rob Espero on the call, joined by Long Beach State alumna and AVP standout Hailey Harward and sideline reporter Chloë Clark.
