Offensive Player of the Week 
Jade Light, UC Davis | Senior • Outside Hitter • Pleasant Grove, Calif.
  • Jade Light propelled UC Davis to a pair of big home wins to secure Big West Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks.  

  • The senior outside hitter was the offensive catalyst that led the team to a sweep of UC Riverside on Tuesday and the Aggies’ first home win over Hawai'i since 2013 on Thursday, averaging 4.57 kills, 5.07 points and 3.00 digs per set on the week.  

  • Against the Highlanders, Light put down 13 kills for an effective .323 hitting percentage with eight digs, two blocks, and a service ace.  

  • The outside hitter from Pleasant Grove, Calif., stepped up even further versus the Rainbow Wahine, leading the offense with 19 kills while collecting 13 digs for a seventh double-double of the season.  

  • Light leads The Big West in kills (4.01) and points (4.41) average as the Aggies top the league standings with just one blemish in conference play with three weeks remaining in the regular season.

Defensive Player of the Week 
Campbell Jensen, UC Irvine | Senior • Libero • Burbank, Calif.
  • Helping UC Irvine to the weekend split, senior Campbell Jensen collected back-to-back Big West Defensive Player of the Week awards with a strong back line performance. 

  • The Burbank, Calif., product averaged 6.00 digs per set and moved into second all-time in UCI career digs with 1,777. The figure rates fourth in NCAA Division I career tallies. 

  • The libero totaled a match-high 21 digs in a Halloween sweep at UC San Diego, a sixth 20-plus performance of the season.  

  • In the loss versus Long Beach State, Jensen recorded 15 digs. The senior also added three assists in each match and an ace versus The Beach. 

  • Jensen currently scoops up 4.53 digs per set to lead The Big West as the Anteaters battle to claim a spot in The Big West Championship, currently sitting in a tie for sixth in the league standings.

Setter of the Week 
Mia Starr, UC Davis | Junior • Setter • Portland, Ore.
  • 8137After two more UC Davis wins last week, Mia Starr claimed Big West Setter of the Week honors for the third time of the season, and fourth overall. 

  • Starr continued the strong season with 83 assists across seven played sets, or 11.86 per set, as the anchor for the Aggies' offensive attack.  

  • In Tuesday’s sweep of UC Riverside to open the week, the junior from Portland, Ore. collected 37 assists with seven digs, two blocks and an ace.  

  • Two days later, Starr stepped up with a double-double of 46 assists and 12 digs, alongside three blocks and an ace in a four-set victory against Hawai’i. The performance is a seventh double-double of the season.  

  • Also claiming victory on O’ahu back on Sept. 27, the regular-season sweep of the Rainbow Wahine is the first in program history.  

  • Starr currently leads The Big West and ranks 22nd nationally with 10.30 assists per set on the season.

Freshman of the Week 
Gabi Martinez, UC Santa Barbara | Freshman • Outside Hitter • Katy, Texas
  • 8134Playing in one match on the weekend for UC Santa Barbara, Gabi Martinez powered the team to the win en route to the season’s second Big West Freshman of the Year honor.  

  • Martinez finished with 18 kills to go along with eight digs, a solo stuff and an ace in the sweep of CSUN to lead the Gauchos to their first win of the undefeated weekend.  

  • The outside hitter from Katy, Texas, finished the match with 6.67 points per set.   

  • The Gauchos currently sit in sole possession of fourth place in The Big West standings as UCSB looks to return to the bracket for The Hawaiian Islands presents the 2025 Outrigger Big West Women’s Volleyball Championship.
