Credit Union 1 Named Title Partner of 2026 Big West Basketball Championships

The Big West announced an enhanced agreement with Credit Union 1, the Official Credit Union, Bank and Financial Services Partner of The Big West, to become the title partner of the 2026 Big West Basketball Championships, March 11-14, 2026, at Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson, Nev. The conference also released the official logo for the 2026 Credit Union 1 Big West Basketball Championships.

The Big West aligned with Credit Union 1, who has company presence in Henderson, Nev., in 2024. Adding Credit Union 1 as the title partner to The Big West’s marquee championship event was secured by Van Wagner, who manages The Big West’s sponsorship and corporate marketing program.

“We are excited to expand our partnership with The Big West to include an even greater presence at its signature championship event,” Credit Union 1 President and CEO Todd Gunderson said. “Credit Union 1 believes in supporting activities that bring people together, which is why we are proud to partner with The Big West to support the student-athletes who represent their institutions so admirably both on and off the court.”

The 2026 Credit Union 1 Big West Basketball Championships features the conference’s top eight men’s and women’s teams vying for conference titles and automatic bids to the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships.

“The Big West is experiencing incredible momentum, and last season’s basketball championships reflected the passion of our fans and the quality of our programs,” Big West Commissioner Dan Butterly said. “We’re deeply grateful to Credit Union 1 for their belief in The Big West and for expanding their partnership as title sponsor of our marquee championship event. Together, we’ll build on the success and energy of last season to create an even greater experience for our student-athletes and fans at Lee’s Family Forum.”
