In an eventual 1-0 team victory in the series opener, the junior scattered two hits and two walks while striking out eight Titans in 7.1 innings of work. 

The win ignited the Roadrunners to a 2-1 series victory over Cal State Fullerton. Cal State Bakersfield fell in game two before winning the rubber game 5-4.

Brock Kleszcz slashed .385/.429/1.000 with eight RBI and four runs scored to lead UC San Diego to a 3-1 record to earn The Big West Field Player of the Week honor. It is the first career weekly award for Kleszcz.

The senior started the week with a 2-for-2 performance, inclduing two RBI and a run scored in a 20-2 rout of UC Riverside on Monday. The win secured a series sweep of the Highlanders for the Tritons. 

Kleszcz went 2-for-3, hitting a pair of two-run home runs, for four RBI and two runs scored in a 5-1 road win in the series opener at Long Beach State on Friday. 

The Valencia, Calif. product collected two RBI and scored a run in Sunday's 6-3 victory that secured the series over the Dirtbags for the Tritons.
