Lauren Hett, UC Irvine Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week Freshman • Attacker • Orinda, Calif.

• UC Irvine's Lauren Hett scored five goals in two wins to earn The Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week award. It is the first weekly honor in Hett's career. 

• The freshman accumulated three goals and two steals in a 14-5 home victory over No. 21 Brown on Tuesday. It was the third hat-trick of Hett's rookie year. 

• The Orinda, Calif. product scored twice in a pivotal 10-7 road triumph in league play at No. 15 UC Santa Barbara on Friday. 

• UC Irvine is 14-9 overall and 2-1 in conference matches. The Anteaters are ranked No. 8 in the latest CWPA national rankings. Hett is third on UC Irvine in goals (25) and assists (36).
