Headlined by Cal State Fullerton's Davina Xanh, the 2023-24 All-Big West Women's Golf Team and major award winners were announced today, based on a vote of the league's head coaches.

Xanh, a sophomore for the Titans, holds the highest individual ranking in the conference, boasting one victory and 10 top-10 finishes in the 2023-24 campaign. Landing in the top 10 in all events on the season's slate, Xanh is now the third Cal State Fullerton golfer to claim the league's top honor in program history (Martina Edberg, 2017; Brittany Shin, '21).

Xanh finished the year as The Big West’s highest ranked individual, according to the Clippd rankings, coming in at No. 256. The native of Weston Super Mare, England, averaged 71.4 strokes per round, and jumped 11 spots on the final day of the 2024 Big West Championship to finish with All-Tournament honors in a tie for fifth on the leaderboard.

Freshman of the Year acclaim goes to Andee Avery of Big West champion Long Beach State. This marks consecutive nods for a Long Beach State golfer, and the sixth time an LBSU first-year player has nabbed the award. Avery joins teammate and back-to-back individual champion Jasmine Leovao as a Freshman of the Year. . The first-year player from Carlsbad, Calif., finished with seven Top 10s and landed atop the leaderboard at the CSUN/Cal State Bakersfield/Long Beach State Tri-Match. Avery heads into the postseason averaging 72.87 strokes per round.

Jasmine and sister Janae both dot the All-Big West First Team listings with Madison Le on the second team and Angelina Kim as an honorable mention selection as the Beach landed all five women in the lineup earning distinction. Jasmine repeated as Big West individual medalist and totaled five top-10 finishes in 2024. Janae closed the year with seven top 10s and two runner-up showings for the Beach to earn a first career All-Big West selection.

Also landing five on the all-conference teams is Big West runner-up Cal Poly, with redshirt junior Jensen Jalufka claiming first team honors. The Big West team and individual runner-up bumped up from the second team in 2023. Mustangs Kamille Dimayuga and Kaylee Sakoda were tabbed for the second team with Nicole Neale earning honorable mention status.

Alyssa Waite is now back-to-back Coach of the Year after guiding the Beach to the title in 2024. Along with hoisting The Big West Championship trophy, LBSU posted seven Top 3 team finishes, including wins at the Golf Iconic Classic and the Clash at Boulder Creek in the fall and two tri-match victories in the spring.
