Hawai'i junior utility Jordan Wedderburn recorded a hat trick against No. 5 USC to earn The Big West Player of the Week award. It the first career weekly honor for Wedderburn and fifth time this season that a Rainbow Wahine has won the weekly honor. Bia Mantellato Dias (Jan. 24), Bernadette Doyle (Jan. 31), Lucia Gomez de la Puente (Feb. 7) and Daisy Logtens (Feb. 28) were the previos winners.

The junior from South Africa scored three goals on five shots, delivering a tie-breaking goal on each occasion as Hawai'i defeated No. 5 USC 9-8. It was the first home win over USC in 21 all-time meetings in program history.

Wedderburn scored the first with 14 seconds left in the second quarter to send Hawai'i into halftime with a 4-3 lead.

The second pushed the Rainbow Wahine ahead 5-4.
- The final goal gave Hawai'i the lead for good with 19 seconds left in the third quarter.

Hawai'i is 13-3 overall and rated third in the latest CWPA national rankings. Wedderburn has amassed 22 goals so far this season.
