UC Irvine starting pitcher Nick Pinto tossed eight innings of three-hit ball against UC Davis to claim The Big West Pitcher of the Week award. It is the fifth career weekly honor for Pinto, having won the award twice last year (May 8, May 29) and twice in 2021 (March 22, May 24).

In an eventual 1-0 team victory, the lefty did not allow a run and received a no decision in Friday's conference opener against UC Davis.

Pinto compiled seven strikeouts in the game and moved into sixth all-time in Anteater program history with 265 career strikeouts

In a massive 19-7 win against UNLV on Wednesday, Fenn hit 5-for-6 with two RBI and five runs scored. It marked only the seventh time a Mustang scored 5 runs in a single game and the 20th instance in program history a 5-hit game was had

The El Cajon, Calif. product went 2-for-5 with three RBI in a 5-4 win in the conference opener against CSUN.
