IRVINE, Calif. - The Big West 2024 baseball conference schedule has been unveiled, featuring 30 games for each team in a three-game series round robin series format. 

Non-conference activity begins across the league on Friday, Feb. 16. Conference play in The Big West starts on Friday, March 15 with five series on the docket, kicking off an eleven-week slate. Each team will see five home and five away series that ends on May 25. Some of the premier matchups and storylines include: 

• UC San Diego won the 2023 Big West title with a 21-9 record in its third year of Division I reclassification. The Tritons will open conference action in their fourth and final year of NCAA postseason ineligibility against co-runners-up Cal State Fullerton. The Titans earned the league's automatic qualfier into the 2023 NCAA Championship with a 20-10 record in conference play. 
• UC Irvine was right in the mix for a conference title at the end of last season with a 19-11 record. Antaeter outfielder Caden Kendle was selected in the 10th round by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2023 MLB Draft, but will return to play for a fourth year for UC Irvine. Kendle was The Big West Co-Field Player of the Year in addition to receiving ABCA/Rawlings All-West Region Second Team honors last season. The Anteaters will welcome Big West co-runners-up CSUN to Cicerone Field in each team's regular season finale. The Matadors tied for second in the 2023 standings with a 20-10 record, but lost the automatic qualifier to the Titans on tiebreaker rules.  
• Bryan Peters will take over the helm of the Long Beach State program as its interim head coach after former head coach Eric Valenzuela stepped down in June. Peters spent the previous four seasons as the Dirtbags' associate head coach. 

Last season, UC San Diego won The Big West regular season title with a 21-9 conference record, but could not participate in the NCAA Championship due to reclassification rules. Big West runner-up Cal State Fullerton earned the conference's automatic qualifier into the NCAA Championship.
