Kennedy East, UC Irvine Women's Water Polo Player of the Week   Sophomore • Attacker  • Redondo Beach, Calif.

• UC Irvine attacker Kennedy East scored four goals in a conference win over Hawai'i to earn The Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week award. East is a first-time weekly honoree. 

• The sophomore scored four goals in five shot attempts in Saturday's 11-10 victory over No. 4 Hawai'i. East's final two goals came in the last two minutes of the game, the first with 1:52 remaining to tie the game at 10-10 before scoring the game-winner for the Anteaters at 1:06. With the win the Anteaters won at least a share of the regular season title. 

• The Redondo Beach, Calif. product has 22 goals and 12 assists on the season. 

• UC Irvine is 16-6 overall and 6-0 in conference play. The Anteaters are currently at the top of The Big West standings and ranked fourth in the latest CWPA national rankings.
