Noelle Wijnbelt, UC Davis  Women's Water Polo Player of the Week  Senior • Center  • Tustin, Calif.

• Noelle Wijnbelt of UC Davis scored eight goals on the week to earn The Big West Women's Water Polo Player of the Week award. It is Wijnbelt's second career weekly honor, having won it once in 2019. 

•  The senior put away four goals, drew two exclusions and had a field block in Thursday's 8-7 Aggie win over No. 19 Indiana. 

• On Saturday, Wijnbelt had four goals and drew three exclusions against No. 11 Michigan. 

• UC Davis has now won the Player of the week award three times this season, combined with Ally Clague's two on March 1 and March 15. The Aggies are currently 13-9 overall, 2-0 in conference play, and rated 11th in the latest CWPA rankings. Wijnbelt has 43 goals on the season so far.
